I hope that interested readers – both academics and non-academics – will join the Williams Institute and the UCLA Law Review for a symposium on "Sexuality and Gender Law: Assessing the Field, Envisioning the Future." It will be held February 19 and 20 at UCLA Law School. The conference is open to the public, and registration is free.

The panel topics reflect the themes that will be highlighted: The Difference a Field Makes, Theoretical Perspectives on Multidimensional Advocacy, The Impact of Scholarship on LGBT Rights, Intersectionality, Sexuality in a Global Culture, The Many Meanings of Gender, and Next Steps. And the speakers are truly stellar – just check them out here.

Hope to see you there!
