October 5 [corrected date] – Author's Night at the New York Academy of Medicine will feature Elizabeth Reis, discussing her new book Bodies in Doubt: An American History of Intersex, 5:30 to 7 pm

    Aargh! Hate to be a pedant, but “Balkins” are, I suppose, followers of a certain law Profesor/blogger — and yes, there might be a Justice among them.

    But Podgorica is in the ‘former Yugoslavia’ and is in the area called the BalkAns.
